Michael McLennan has extensive experience in the mining and finance sectors, currently serving as a Senior Mining Engineer at Yancoal Australia Ltd since September 2022. Previously, Michael held positions at Peabody Energy, including Senior Planning and Logistics Engineer and Mine Geologist for the NSW Hub. Additional roles include Coal Quality and Mine Geologist, and Mine Planning Engineer at Middlemount South - Foxleigh, and various positions at Anglo American Metallurgical Coal. Michael also has experience as a Portfolio Administrator at Wilson HTM Investment Group. Academically, Michael holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Geology) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (Finance) from The University of Queensland, along with a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance from Kaplan Business School.
