Blair Beven is an experienced legal professional specializing in intellectual property, particularly in trade mark law. Currently serving as CEO and Principal at XVII Degrees Pty Ltd since September 2023, as well as Founder and Owner of Lovemarks, which focuses on simplifying trade mark application processes, Blair also held the position of National Head of IP and Partner at Holding Redlich from June 2019 to September 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Partner at Mills Oakley and AJ Park, and as an Associate at Griffith Hack. Blair's early career involved working as a lawyer at Gilbert + Tobin. An educational background encompasses a BA, LLB, and LLM with honors in Intellectual Property from Victoria University of Wellington, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Otago.
