Hasan Salman is a System Engineer at Xtera, specializing in submarine cable system engineering since November 2021. Responsibilities include performing preliminary system designs for bidding, defining tools for submarine project support, and contributing to technical documentation and tender responses. In addition, Hasan engages in Pre-Sales activities through computer simulations and customer meetings, and generates System Configuration Specifications for new projects. Prior experience includes an Engineer Intern role at II-VI Incorporated, focusing on the characterization of 14XX pump lasers and performance analysis. Hasan holds an MSc in Smart Telecom and Sensing Networks from Aston University and an MSc in Optical Networks and Photonic Systems from Institut Polytechnique de Paris, along with a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic and Information Engineering from Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
