Mikhail Andrenkov has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as a Senior Software Developer at Xanadu. In this role, they are responsible for expanding, testing, and maintaining a Python microservice architecture on AWS for simulating quantum circuits and running quantum programs on photonic hardware. Mikhail also manages Docker container deployments and writes Postgres database migrations. Additionally, they have published a Python API and CLI for submitting and viewing quantum jobs and querying device information.

Before joining Xanadu, Mikhail was a Co-Founder at InFlow Machine Learning in 2019. Here, they developed a powerful analytics service in Go that detects and tracks objects in video feeds. Mikhail also deployed a scalable microservice architecture using the Google Kubernetes Engine and actively participated in meetings with industry partners, mentors, and clients.

Mikhail also contributed to a C++ MapReduce project that operates over the Google search index.

Mikhail's work experience also includes roles as a Teaching Assistant and Web Developer at McMaster University, where they expanded the scope and quality of JavaScript games and taught in laboratory sessions. Mikhail also worked as a Meat Clerk at FreshCo.

Mikhail Andrenkov completed their education with a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science from the University of Oxford in 2020. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Software Engineering from McMaster University, which they attended from 2014 to 2019. Mikhail's educational journey began at Nelson High School, where they obtained their High School Diploma in General Studies from 2010 to 2014.
