Chunlei Wang is a Data Scientist at Google since June 2022, focusing on improving the efficiency of Google Compute Engine by developing data pipelines for dynamic VM workload monitoring and optimizing VM scheduling frameworks. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at the University of Iowa from August 2017 to May 2022, where Chunlei Wang's dissertation contributed to Bayesian analysis methods for large and complex datasets. Additional experience includes a Graduate Internship as a Biostatistician at Merck in 2021 and Teaching Assistant roles at both the University of Iowa and Texas A&M University. Chunlei Wang holds a PhD in Statistics from the University of Iowa, an MS in Mathematics from Texas A&M University, and a BS in Mathematics from Beihang University. Skills include SQL, Python, R, C++, and expertise in A/B experimentation and causal inference.
