°Õ³ó±ð Southeast Regional Director collaborates with and consults community leaders as they develop systems to manage change and build resilient local and regional economies. From a problem-driven approach, the Southeast Regional Director works with and guides community leaders as they identify barriers and develop capacity, tools, and systems necessary to build economic resilience unique to their community’s challenge. The Southeast Regional Director works tightly with other WBC team members while building and expanding the organization’s networks with partners, community leaders, and businesses. Acting as a catalyst and mentor for community leaders, the Southeast Regional Director builds momentum, encourages connections, and points toward opportunities.

The Wyoming Business Council focuses on identifying policies or systematic limiting factors that are constraining state and local economies. Our Regional team is built to help you work on the right challenge at the right time for the right reasons because we collaborate closely with city, town, county, tribal, and business and industry leaders in the interest of connecting and facilitating the process of accessing WBC programs and services best suited for the community’s unique situation.

As the Southeast Regional Director, you are a leader who involves others in broad and diverse decision-making in the interest of achieving common goals. You are ambitious and generous by offering your point of view as you invite others to share theirs as well. You initiate ideas in the best interests of the end goal while continuously refining your approach through testing and experimenting. You thrive when you can lean into difficult conversations that help others to push beyond the tension toward positive outcomes. Connecting, coaching, and consulting are strengths of yours when you help others intersect the intersections confidently and humbly.  

This position has the flexibility to be located in any of the counties within our Southeast region (Carbon, Albany, Laramie, or Goshen). While WBC does have office space in some locations around the state, it may not be an option where you are located. Applicants are advised to be prepared to work from home and travel frequently.
