William Filipsic (Bill)

Bill Filipsic has a diverse work experience that spans over 20 years. William (Bill) began their career in the US Navy, where they served in various roles, including Non-Nuclear Planning Leading Chief Petty Officer and Training Specialist and Coordinator. During their time in the Navy, Bill was responsible for supervising personnel, overseeing technical libraries, and conducting training activities. After leaving the Navy, Bill worked as a GIS Technician at England-Thims & Miller, Inc., where they provided support to end-users and ensured the accuracy and quality of mapping data. More recently, Bill has been involved with the Wounded Warrior Project, serving as an Outreach Coordinator, Soldier Ride logistics coordinator, and Project Odyssey Specialist. In these roles, they have supported wounded service members by facilitating events, providing inclusive cycling opportunities, and assisting with mental health and wellness programs.
