Michael Lewis, PMP, has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Michael began their career as a Counter Explosive (C-IED) Intelligence Analyst and Project Manager for the C-IED program in Taji, Iraq. Michael gained expertise in coordinating with multiple U.S. intelligence agencies and conducting personnel interviews in support of Force Protection programs.

In their subsequent roles, Michael served as the Biometrics Analyst/Site Lead at HSA, where they developed knowledge bases for sharing intelligence among federal and state law enforcement agencies. Michael also led the team that designed training plans and how-to guides for end users of new biometric readers and forensic products.

Later, Michael worked as an Assistant Team Lead at Torres Advanced Enterprise Solutions and as a Project Manager at Atos, where they were responsible for statistical analysis and process improvement for Texas state agencies.

Michael also had experience as a Submission Specialist at Multimedia Games, where they standardized communication chains, product submission standards, and stakeholder identification for compliance with regulations in over 30 jurisdictions. Michael was awarded Team MVP twice for their contribution to creating, standardizing, and documenting organizational processes.

Furthermore, Michael worked as a Biologist at the Texas General Land Office and as a Restoration Biologist at the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. In these roles, they conducted natural resource damage investigations, implemented injury assessment studies, and pursued compensation for injuries caused by oil spills and hazardous substances.

Additionally, Michael served as a Board Member at the Keep Hutto Beautiful Foundation, where they managed fundraising efforts and coordinated community outreach activities. Michael also worked as a Clean Air and Water Advocate at Environment Texas, leading campaigns and outreach events to promote various environmental programs.

Currently, Michael is employed as an Outreach Specialist at the Wounded Warrior Project.

Michael Lewis, PMP has an extensive education history. Michael obtained a Master's degree in Environmental Science from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi from 2016 to 2018. Prior to their Master's degree, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from American Military University between 2012 and 2014. Michael also holds a BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) in Business Administration and Management, which they acquired from St. Edward's University from 2008 to 2010.

Additionally, Michael has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2019, they acquired Standard First Aid, CPR, and AED certification from the Health and Safety Institute. In 2017, they became a certified Open Water Diver through PADI. Furthermore, in 2016, they obtained a Boater Education Certificate from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and became a Water Quality Citizen Scientist certified by the Texas Stream Team.

Michael's professional certifications include Project Management Professional (PMP), obtained from PMI in January 2013. Michael also holds a HAZWOPR Supervisor certification, although the institution is not specified.
