Rafal Ziecina serves as the Executive Director at Worldwide Clinical Trials since November 2018, leading the medical and scientific efforts for the cardiometabolic franchise, while providing consultancy and advisory services in study design, regulatory strategies, and agency interactions. Prior to this role, Ziecina was the Medical Director for Cardiovascular and Metabolics at IQVIA from September 2012 to October 2018, held the position of Medical Director at Eisai from October 2007 to August 2012, and served as Senior Medical Director at PPD between September 2005 and September 2007. Ziecina holds an MD PhD in Medicine from the Medical University of Warsaw, a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Medicine from Université libre de Bruxelles, an Executive MBA from Kozminski University, and is a Fellow of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine (FFPM).
