Anca Raucă has extensive work experience in the clinical research field. Anca currently holds the position of Associate Director and Site Activation Portfolio Lead at Worldwide Clinical Trials since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at IQVIA from 2014 to 2021, where they served as a Site Activation Manager and later as an Associate RSU Manager. At IQVIA, they were responsible for overseeing the execution of start-up and maintenance activities for various projects, developing and implementing site Activation Management Plans, and ensuring compliance with project scope and strategies. Before joining IQVIA, Anca worked at Quintiles from 2010 to 2020, where they held the roles of Regional Regulatory & Start-up Lead and Senior Clinical Research Associate. At Quintiles, they were involved in site selection, initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits for a wide range of therapeutic areas. Anca began their career as a Clinical Research Associate at Monitoring Force Bucharest in 2008 and later worked at Monitoring Force Romania in the same role until 2010.

Anca Raucă completed a Doctor of Medicine - MD degree in the field of Medicine from the University of Medicine "Targu Mures", Romania, from 1996 to 2002. Anca later pursued an Anesthesiology Residency Program from 2002 to 2007 at the Emergency Hospital in Bucharest, Romania.
