Jeff Shelp has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Jeff began their career as a General Manager at Oak Tree Administrators, Inc in 1996 and held this position until 2004. From 2004 to 2007, they worked as an Information Technology Consultant at Shelp Consulting. In 2006, they joined Metro Calvary Chapel as an Office Manager/Intern Pastor, responsible for managing the church office and resources. In 2007, they transitioned to a new role as a Professional Musician, performing with various music ensembles until 2006. In 2007, they joined World Impact Inc as an Accounting Manager, overseeing the accounting department. In 2012, they were promoted to Controller, responsible for establishing financial policies and procedures. In 2014, they assumed the role of IT Director at World Impact Inc.

Jeff Shelp completed their Bachelor of Arts in Black Music and Sculpture from Bennington College from 1986 to 1990. Following that, they pursued their Master of Music in Jazz Studies from the University of Southern California from 1990 to 1993.
