Ryan Phelan has 8 years of professional experience in software engineering and web development. In 2021, they began working as a Senior Software Engineer at Workshop. From 2013 to 2021, they worked as a Web Development Contractor at MK2 Digital, where they were responsible for senior and architect level front-end web development, including frameworks like React, Angular and Vue. From 2008 to 2013, they worked at Phenomblue, first as a Technology Director, where they oversaw development on all projects, and then as a Senior Experience Engineer, where they architected and developed numerous projects. From 2007 to 2008, they worked as an Internet Applications Developer at Gallup, where they architected and developed an application to generate all charts and graphs on gallup.com. Finally, from 2005 to 2007, they worked as a Senior Developer at GRW Studios, where they led development of Flash based GUI and supported back end development in C#.

Ryan Phelan attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
