Suffi Qarni (Ausaf)

Director Of Research And Analytics at Working America

Suffi Qarni (Ausaf) has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations and roles. Suffi began their career in 2009 as a Teacher at Prince George's County Public Schools. In 2011, they joined Working America, AFL-CIO as an Executive Assistant to the Executive Director, where they worked until 2015. During this time, they also served as a Research Analyst.

From 2012 to 2013, Suffi Qarni worked as a Graduate Capstone Consultant at The Hunger Project. In 2015, they joined Atlantic Media as a Manager, Data & Insights, staying with the company until 2017.

In 2017, Suffi Qarni returned to Working America, AFL-CIO and took on the role of Strategic Projects Coordinator. Suffi later served as an Associate Research Director from 2018 to 2019, Deputy Research Director from 2019 to 2020, and is currently the Director of Research and Analytics, a position they have held since August 2020.

Suffi Qarni (Ausaf) completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from the University of Maryland from 2006 to 2010. Their major was Political Science and Economics, with a minor in Secondary Education. Following this, from 2011 to 2013, Suffi Qarni (Ausaf) pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree at The George Washington University. Their field of study was Development Economics and International Development.
