Jessica Rivera-Lucas is a dedicated professional currently serving as a Staff member at Workers Defense Action Fund and as a Fellow at Engage Dallas since March 2024. With extensive experience in leadership roles, Jessica has been the Director of Communications for the League of Women Voters of Dallas since June 2021 and the Director of Programming for Lake Highland Area Moms and More Against Racism since May 2020. Additionally, Jessica co-founded Latinas Inspiring Vision and Excellence (LIVE) in January 2013, where Jessica serves as CFO. Jessica has held a staff position at the Richardson ISD Foundation from May 2022 to March 2024. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Special Education and Teaching from Grand Canyon University, as well as two associate degrees from the University of Texas at Brownsville in Science Teacher Education and Biology.
