Kay Gillespie has been working in human resources for over six years. Kay started as a human resources consultant at HR Service, Inc. in August 2015. In this role, they acted as a human resources leader for multiple clients, resolving HR and compliance questions and issues. Kay also conducted employment law and HR compliance reviews/audits, designed employee handbooks, and performed any needed HR function for clients, including recruiting, compensation, coaching, performance management, benefits, onboarding, terminations, and employment law interpretation.
In November 2021, Kay left HR Service, Inc. to become the Chief Human Resources Officer at WorkCare. In their new role, they are responsible for all aspects of human resources for the company. This includes finding and retaining the right talent, building effective compensation and reward systems, driving desired behaviors and results, creating engaged and happy employees, implementing clear systems and procedures, and aligning HR practices with strategy.
Kay Gillespie has a Master of Science in Applied Psychology/Human Resource Management from Stevens Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Millersville University of Pennsylvania. Kay is also a graduate of the Women Unlimited Leadership Development Program - Graduate & Mentor.
