Dr. Dein joined Main Line Women’s Health Care Associates in 1987. He graduated from The Johns Hopkins University and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and did Cancer Research at the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Dein did his OB/GYN residency training at The Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and is Board Certified. Dr. Dein provides a full range of surgical services for gynecologic disorders, including laparoscopy and abdominal operations. He performs minimally invasive office procedures, including hysteroscopy and endometrial ablation. He has a special interest in the diagnosis and management of osteoporosis and frequently lectures on the subject.

Dr. Dein cares for high and low-risk obstetrical patients and performs amniocentesis, ultrasound and antenatal testing in the office setting. He has a special interest in diabetic patient. He affords his patients respectful and compassionate care. Dr. Dein is married and the father of three children. Dr. Dein is a grandfather of 5.
