Richard Assar is a Research Fellow at The Wolfram Institute since January 2023, focusing on advancing methods in pure computation and its modeling applications. In December 2022, Richard founded NeuroPhonics, a company dedicated to creating AI and Machine Learning-based digital instruments with a focus on efficiency and real-time operation. Richard has previous experience as a Machine Learning Researcher at CaptainAI, where work centered on naval traffic flow prediction, and as a Freelance Deep Learning Researcher at Aiva Technologies, concentrating on Generative Models in music. Additionally, Richard held various engineering roles at Speech Graphics, Rockstar Games, Musemantik Ltd, Primate Research Institute, and Winterwell Associates, contributing to projects in software development, machine learning, and social media monitoring. Richard earned a Master of Science degree in Artificial Intelligence from The University of Edinburgh.
