Threat Operations Team Lead at WMC Global

Steven Leonard started their work experience in 2010 at STARTEK, where they held a technical role, providing AT&T customer technical support and troubleshooting mobile and network connectivity issues. Steven then worked at Hollywood Casino Toledo from 2015 to 2019 as a Table Games Dealer, where they identified malicious patterns of behavior and mitigated threats such as money laundering and cheating. In 2020, they joined the University of Michigan College of Engineering as a Cybersecurity Student, gaining skills in networking, cloud, and Windows and Linux security. Additionally, they worked on a network security project. In 2021, they worked at CyberForce|Q as an Event Response Analyst, triaging and responding to real-time cyber attacks in a SOC environment. Steven used SIEM and SOAR platforms and tracked and improved personal metrics. Currently, since 2021, they are with WMC Global, first working as a Threat Analyst and later advancing to the position of Threat Operations Team Lead.

Steven Leonard completed a Certification in Cyber Security at the University of Michigan College of Engineering from 2020 to 2021.
