Luke B. serves as the Cyber Security Lead at PCCW GLOBAL Limited and Console Connect since January 2022, combining roles of Information Security Specialist and Information Security Officer in both companies. Prior experience includes Network & Security Engineer at Catholic Education, Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn, where significant improvements to cyber security posture were achieved through the migration to a zero-trust architecture and enhancing security awareness among staff. Luke B. has held various IT roles such as IT Projects Manager, IT Manager at Mount Panorama Motor Racing Circuit, and IT Support Officer at Bathurst Regional Council, where an MPLS WAN was designed and implemented to enhance connectivity and user experience across multiple council facilities. Earlier career experiences include serving as a Telecommunications Technician at Midstate Communications. Luke B. holds a Master of Cyber Security (With Distinction) and a Graduate Certificate in Information Technology from Charles Sturt University, as well as participating in the ADF Cyber Gap Program.
