Tim Hwang is currently an engineer at Persona. Tim previously worked as a senior software engineer at Nash from October 2018 to October 2019, where they launched the company's basic and advanced exchange trading interface. Tim also worked on the reference implementation of the Nash Protocol, a collection of cryptographic routines related to user onboarding, authentication, and wallet management. Tim also has experience working as an engineering manager at Sizmek (formerly Rocket Fuel) from June 2016 to October 2018, where they gained subject matter expertise in React & Redux patterns & best practices, form controls & validation logic, data grids, and performance optimization & diagnosis.

Tim Hwang received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, Managerial Studies, and Business from Rice University. Tim then pursued a career in full-stack software development, attending App Academy for their training. Tim Hwang is currently enrolled in a PhD program for I/O Psychology at the University of Connecticut, though they have not yet completed their doctorate.
