Gary Avánt is the President & Lead Consultant at Wisdom Matrix. Gary has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry, including project management, software and systems development, and general consulting.

Gary started their career at SAIC in January 1994 as a Project Manager. In this role, they were responsible for project management, software and systems development, and general consulting. Gary also led the team that implemented SEI, CMMI, and ISO processes.

Gary left SAIC in December 2000 to start Wisdom Matrix. Wisdom Matrix is a leading provider of IT consulting services. Gary has been with Wisdom Matrix for over 15 years and has helped the company grow into a successful business.

Gary Avánt has a Masters in Instructional Systems Design / Educational Technology from San Diego State University, a Bachelors in Psychology (with a minor in Sociology) from Geneva College, and a number of certificates including one in Global Business Development from University of Phoenix, ISO 9000 Internal Auditing from Management Systems International (MSI), 21st Century Leadership Program from Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), and Telecommunications Training Practitioner from State of California - Department of Justice.
