Brendon Smith has a diverse work experience in marketing and communications. Brendon started their career as a Marketing Assistant at Update Legal in 1997 and worked there until 2002. Brendon then joined Westbrook Associated Engineers as a Marketing Manager in 2002. In 2003, they became the Marketing & Communications Director at Willy Street Co-op, where they established and executed promotion strategies, designed and implemented communication and marketing plans, and evaluated campaign results.

Brendon Smith attended Lawrence University from 1988 to 1992, majoring in Theater and minoring in English. In March 2022, they obtained the certification for Google Analytics for Beginners from Google.
