Baz Palmer has extensive experience in the music industry, having been involved in various roles since 1988. Baz began their career as a guitarist and songwriter for the iconic Australian band Hunters & Collectors. In 2002, they founded and served as CEO of Gigantically Small. In 2011, they co-founded and served as CEO of soundhalo, a platform for bringing artists closer to audiences through live performance downloads. In 2014, they co-founded and served as CEO of Weyo. Finally, in 2016, they co-founded Vampr, a platform for connecting and collaborating with fellow musicians and music lovers.
Baz Palmer attended La Trobe University from 1978 to 1983 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Diploma of Education in English Language and Literature/Letters.
