Joon Choi has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities. Joon is currently the President at Weverse Company since July 2021, and prior to that, they served as the VP from January 2021 to June 2021. From 2019 to 2020, Joon worked as the EVP at The Pinkfong Company.

Before their time at The Pinkfong Company, Joon held a significant position at Nexon Korea as the Head of Global Platform from May 2013 to July 2019. During this time, they played a crucial role in leading the strategic direction of the company's global publishing platform and launching their first mobile game platform service. Joon also successfully unified platforms in five different regions.

Joon's earlier experience includes working as the Director at NCSOFT West from April 2012 to May 2013. Joon also held the position of Director of Web Services at Nexon America from February 2009 to March 2012, where they supervised and led five departments and oversaw the transformation of the company's legacy account system.

Prior to their roles in the gaming industry, Joon founded and served as the CEO of SmartPlay Inc., an online education platform company. Joon was responsible for the development and launch of their first product, a desktop agent monitoring and content filtering tool for children.

Joon's career began at Nexon Korea in 2000, where they started as a Project Manager and later became a Team Manager, leading nexon.com to become the top game portal in the Korean online game market. Joon was responsible for the development and execution of the company's business and marketing strategies.

Joon Choi obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Yonsei University, where they studied from 1994 to 1999.
