Amit Datta, Ph.D., is an accomplished Senior Planning Engineer at Western Power, with a robust background in power systems engineering and project support across Australia and the Pacific Islands. Prior to this role, Amit served as a Senior Power System Engineer at GHD, focusing on power system modeling for generator and load connections according to regulations. Experience includes leading microgrid design at Balance Services Group, contributing to the FAL3 metro-rail project as an intern at the Public Transport Authority, and conducting significant academic research and teaching at institutions such as Curtin University and Queensland University of Technology.
