Marcelo Guterman, CFA, has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Marcelo began their career at Lloyds Asset Management in 1990, where they initially worked in Corporate Sales before transitioning to the role of Portfolio Manager. Marcelo remained with Lloyds until 2000.

In 1999, Guterman joined Insper as a Professor of MBA Finance and taught until 2009. During this time, they also held positions at Citi as a Product Manager from 2000 to 2005 and at ANBIMA, where they served on the Sub-Committee for Market Monitoring from 2002 to 2009.

In 2005, Guterman joined Western Asset Management as a Product Manager and continues to work there. Marcelo also became a Professor of the CFA Prep Course at CFA Society Brazil in 2010.

Additionally, Guterman has served as a Personal Financial Planner at Vigilantes do Orçamento since 2015.

Overall, Guterman has a diverse background in finance, with experience in portfolio management, sales, teaching, and product management.

Marcelo Guterman, CFA has a diverse education history. In 1988, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Production Engineering from Escola Politécnica da USP. Prior to that, from 1981 to 1983, they studied Data Processing at Escola Técnica Federal - SãPaulo.

In 2009, Marcelo completed a Master's degree in Economics from Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa, specializing in Economics & Finance.

In addition to their formal education, Marcelo Guterman obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute in September 2002.
