Dennis Cortes is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product management and credit risk acquisition, currently serving as the Senior Manager of Product Management for Secured Lending at Tangerine since 2001. Cortes has successfully directed credit acquisition strategies for both secured and unsecured products, achieving significant reductions in overdraft delinquency and potential fraud savings. Previous roles include managing various lending teams and implementing company-wide mortgage reporting systems, demonstrating expertise in project management, performance tracking, and risk assessment. Prior to Tangerine, Cortes was recognized as an Everest Award Winner at TD, progressing from a part-time teller to a Financial Advisor while providing comprehensive financial planning and mentoring junior staff.
