Van Owen Sesaldo is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software development, data protection, and education. Currently serving as a Developer at Leaders Romans Group and a Qollaborator at Weqollab, Van Owen has also owned a business at Pacaffeine Coffee. Previous roles include Chief Data Protection Officer and Director of the Information Technology Center at the University of the Philippines Cebu, where contributions included leading cybersecurity initiatives and teaching computer science. Van Owen co-founded AvocadoSoft Inc. and held positions as Lead Developer at Circus Social and CMS Support Developer at Hurdman, Inc. With a solid educational background, including a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of the Philippines, Van Owen has dedicated time to teaching at various educational institutions.
