Leighton Richards

Leighton Richards has held a number of positions in the corporate world since 1997. Leighton began their career as a Graduate Accountant, Product Manager and Key Account Manager at adidas. In 2001, they became the National Sales Manager and Brand Director for Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy (Watch and Jewelry). In 2005, they moved to Swatch Group Australia as the Brand Director (GM) for TISSOT Swiss Watches. From 2008 to 2017, Leighton held three roles at Callaway Golf, including Regional Managing Director (SVP), South East Asia, South Pacific and India, Managing Director (VP) Callaway Golf South Pacific and Sales and Marketing Director - Callaway Golf South Pacific. In 2015, they joined Private Equity - L Capital Asia as a Strategic Advisor and Consultant (project). Leighton then moved to Private Invest. Co. as an Operating Partner and Senior Advisor, where they were responsible for deal flow, operational DD, strategic business planning and post transaction change management. In 2017, they became a Non Executive Director at Sunny Ridge Berry Farms. Most recently, in 2020, they took on the role of Chief Executive Officer at WelleCo.

Leighton Richards has a comprehensive educational history. Leighton began their studies in 1994 at Deakin University, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Commercial Law and Management. From 2005 to 2013, they attended Monash University, where they earned a Masters of Business Administration and a Master of Marketing. In 2014, they completed the Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors. In 2018, they attended Harvard Business School and completed the Advanced Management Program. Finally, in 2015, they attended the London Business School and completed the Master Class in Private Equity.
