Denise Ann Balko, CESP, WIP-C, currently serves as the Employment & Transition Services Manager and Marketing and Communications Manager at Weaver Industries, Inc., a position held since July 2013, where responsibilities include assisting in vocational training and employment opportunities for adults with disabilities, as well as planning promotional events. Prior experience includes roles such as Administrative and Marketing Assistant at G. Stephens, Inc., Marketing Coordinator at BBC&M Engineering, Inc., and Public Relations Specialist at the Medina County Board of Developmental Disabilities. Denise has also contributed as a volunteer in various organizations and held leadership positions, such as Past President of SMPS Northeast Ohio. Educational background includes a B.A. in Business and Organizational Communications with a focus on Public Relations from The University of Akron and completed coursework in Graphic Design/Visual Communications from Kent State University.
