Jason Jardine, CPA, CA, currently serves as Senior Director of Finance at Wealthsimple since June 2023, bringing a wealth of financial leadership experience. Before joining Wealthsimple, Jardine held the position of Vice President Finance at Bow Valley Credit Union from August 2022 to June 2023 and was the Controller for Canada at Binance for a brief period in early 2022. Jardine has extensive experience in regulatory roles, having served as Controller, Manager of Regulatory & Reporting, and Manager of Regulatory and New Initiatives at Leede Jones Gable Inc. from November 2016 to December 2021, and as a Senior Financial and Operations Examiner at IIROC between October 2014 and November 2016. Prior professional experience includes a Designated Professional role at MNP from September 2011 to October 2014 and working as a Customer Service Officer at Scotiabank from May 2010 to August 2011. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Calgary, completed in 2011.
