Simon Bird has a diverse work experience in various data-related roles. Simon started their career as a Data Migration Analyst at QBE Insurance in 2016 and later served as a Data Analyst in the same company. In 2018, they worked as a Business Analyst Consultant at The Challenges Group. Simon then joined Tokio Millennium Re AG as a Data Quality Analyst before moving to RenaissanceRe in a similar role. In 2019, they joined McGill and Partners as a Data Analyst. Simon then became a Data Reporting Manager at Tokio Marine Kiln in 2022 and is currently working at CLS Group as an IT Business Support - Resource and Financial Management.

Simon Bird attended the University of Reading from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics. In addition, they have obtained a certification in ITIL 4 from PeopleCert, although the month and year of obtaining this certification are unavailable.
