Ilias Cocchi Pontalti's work experience includes various roles in the art industry. Ilias has served as the Presidente of the Associazione Culturale Italian Speedrun Community since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Talent Partnerships Manager Italy at We Are Era (formerly Divimove) starting in September 2021. Ilias is also the Twitch Partner and founder of the Italian Speedrun Community channel, which focuses on charity events based on speedrunning and has raised over 10,000€ for different charities.

Before their involvement in the gaming community, Ilias worked as the Mudec Design Store Manager at MUDEC Museo delle Culture from January to August 2021. Ilias also gained experience as a Registrar/Gallery Assistant at Dellupi Arte from July 2019 to July 2020, where they managed artworks, coordinated exhibitions, and maintained relationships with art institutions, galleries, and collectors.

Prior to Dellupi Arte, Ilias held the role of Registrar/Gallery Assistant at Vistamarestudio from June 2018 to July 2019, where they handled artwork logistics and coordinated installations. Ilias also worked as a Curator and Gallery Assistant at various galleries from April 2017 to September 2018, gaining experience in exhibition organization and curation.

Earlier in their career, Ilias worked as an Art Gallery Transport Coordinator at Artería srl from December 2017 to February 2018, where they coordinated national and international fine arts and luxury transports. Ilias also worked as a Gallery Assistant at Saatchi Gallery from August to November 2017, assisting with various gallery operations, events, and exhibitions.

In addition, Ilias gained experience as a Gallery Assistant at Galleria Clio Calvi Rudi Volpi from November 2016 to July 2017, where they handled back office and front office activities, press relations, and collaborated in exhibition and event organization. Ilias was also involved in PR activities and managed social communication and the gallery's website.

Throughout their diverse work experiences in the art industry, Ilias has developed expertise in gallery operations, curation, event management, art logistics, and partnerships.

Ilias Cocchi Pontalti earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Management of Art, Culture, and Entertainment from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. This academic achievement took place from 2015 to 2017.
