Matthew Pesyna has extensive experience in education and journalism. Currently serving as the Registration Coordinator and Communications Assistant for the Washington Township Board of Education since July 2021, Matthew has also held the role of Assistant Student Registration, Data & Information Manager since August 2006. Responsibilities include directing publicity and public relations for one of New Jersey's largest school districts, writing press releases, and producing video news segments. Previously, Matthew worked as a Sports Freelance Writer for the Philadelphia Inquirer and as Assistant Sports Editor at The Daily Journal, where tasks included managing staff, assigning stories, and copy editing. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Duquesne University, earned in 2000.
