Guttorm Syvertsen-Wiig is an experienced professional in the field of materials science, currently serving as Technical Manager of Special Products at Washington Mills since August 2019. Previously, Guttorm worked as a Product Manager at Ceramic Powder Technology AS from August 2012 to June 2019 and completed a PhD candidacy at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology from March 2008 to June 2012. Earlier roles include summer internships at Keranor AS and Statoil in 2007, and experience in aluminium production at Norsk Hydro in 2006. Guttorm holds a PhD in Materials Science from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, attained in 2012, and also studied at Caltech in 2010. Guttorm earned a Master of Science in Materials Science from NTNU in 2008 and participated in the Erasmus program at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from 2004 to 2005.
