Nick Pender is an experienced IT Security Operations Manager at Washington Health Benefit Exchange since March 2019, with a prior role as IT Security Manager at the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services from January 2014 to March 2019, where responsibilities included securing sensitive information for over 2 million vulnerable citizens in Washington. Nick also served as IT Security Manager for the State of Washington from April 2011 to January 2013. Nick began academic studies at South Puget Sound Community College, earning an Associate's degree in Computer Programming between 1985 and 1987.
