Shira Bernstein, JD, MILR is an accomplished HR executive with extensive experience in people management and organizational development within leading companies. Currently serving as the Interim Vice President of People - Health & Wellness at Walmart, Shira provides strategic leadership for a team of approximately 1,200 members. Prior to Walmart, Shira held various senior roles at Amgen, including Executive Director of HR for US Commercial and HR Director, where responsibilities included leading HR initiatives for substantial teams and partnering with senior leadership across multiple business functions. Shira's earlier career includes significant HR roles at VMware and Dell, as well as academic mentoring positions at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Shira holds degrees from Cornell University and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, including a Juris Doctor specializing in Labor and Employment Law.
