Walkin' Pets is the founder and president of HandicappedPets.com, a company established in January 2001 to honor the memory of a beloved dog, Mercedes. Additionally, Walkin' Pets is the founder and president of the Handicapped Pets Foundation, a non-profit focused on improving perceptions of dogs with mobility issues, and serves as president of Wheels For Pets, LLC, which manufactures Walkin' Wheels dog wheelchairs. Since January 1995, Walkin' Pets has also been the president of The Energy Grid, a consulting firm providing web marketing services to the renewable energy sector. Previously, Walkin' Pets held the position of vice-president of sales and marketing at Nextek Power Systems from May 2000 to January 2004, promoting energy-saving methods. Walkin' Pets holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Southern New Hampshire University.
