Christopher Stevens is a seasoned fundraising professional with extensive experience in the nonprofit sector. Currently serving as Chief of Advancement at Walker Art Center since December 1994, Christopher successfully led a $100 million capital campaign completed in 2006 and a $75 million campaign completed in 2017. Prior to this role, Christopher held the position of Director of the Annual Fund, managing unrestricted fundraising from various contributors. Experience also includes serving as Associate Director of Development at Henry Street Settlement from August 1990 to June 1994, focusing on opportunities for Lower East Side residents, and as Grants Officer at South Street Seaport Museum, where responsibilities included fundraising to support the museum's mission of preserving New York City's maritime history. Christopher holds a Master of Arts in History from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Women's Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
