Rose Hughes is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the life sciences and automation industries. Currently serving as the Director of Operations at FUJIFILM Wako Automation since November 2011, Rose has also held roles as Senior Applications Manager and Senior Applications Scientist within the same company. Previous experience includes positions as Applications Scientist and Project Manager at DJK Scientific, Inc. from August 2010 to October 2011, and as a Scientist at Kalypsys, Inc. from July 2002 to August 2011. Rose began a career in research as a Senior Research Associate at Vertex / Aurora Biosciences from January 2001 to July 2002. Rose earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from UC San Diego between 2001 and 2003.
