Guy Wendon has over 20 years of work experience in a variety of roles. From 2000-2006, they were the Retail Branch Manager at HSBC, where they were responsible for a small branch in Ammanford, South West Wales. From 2006-2013, they were the Sales Operations Manager at Admiral Group plc, where they were responsible for leading over 220 New Business sales staff in a call centre environment. From 2013-2017, they were the Head of Sales at Veeqo.com, where they created the sales team from scratch. From 2017-2019, they were the Head of Business Development at THE ALACRITY FOUNDATION UK. Finally, from 2019-2021, they were the Sales Director at Groop Ltd, where they delivered 140% YoY growth and defined the commercial strategy. Currently, they are the Head of Business Development at Neighbourly, where they are responsible for ensuring the sales team deliver on their growth forecasts.

Guy Wendon obtained a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature, General from Swansea University between 1997 and 2000. Guy then went on to obtain a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David between 2010 and 2014. In April 2016, they obtained an Inbound Certification from HubSpot. Guy also holds a CEFA 3 from the Institute of Financial Services and an ILM Level 5 from the ILM (Institute of Leadership & Management).
