Sandro Aquini has a work experience spanning over two decades. Sandro started their career in 2001 as an IT Leiter at TELAGcompany AG, where they worked until 2008. Sandro then joined Credit Suisse as a Senior Windows Server Administrator until 2012. In 2012, they moved to Vontobel as a Senior System Engineer and later took on the role of Integration Architect from 2019 to 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Head Azure Core Services at Vontobel.

Sandro Aquini has a diverse education history. In 2007, they attended AKAD and earned a qualification as an Informatiker with an eidgenössischer Fachausweis in the field of Business Process Development. Following this, from 2009 to 2011, they pursued further education at IFA, specializing in Service & Technology Solutions and obtaining an Informatiker diploma with eidgenössischem Diplom.

In 2017, Sandro enrolled at Fernfachhochschule Schweiz, where they studied and completed a Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) degree in Business- and IT-Consulting. Throughout their educational journey, they also acquired several additional certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge.

In 2008, Sandro obtained the ITIL Foundation V3 Certificate in IT Service Management. Subsequently, they accomplished various Microsoft certifications, including MCSE: Server Infrastructure in 2014, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert: Server Infrastructure in 2014, and Microsoft Specialist: Server Virtualization with Windows Server Hyper-V and System Center in 2015. In 2016, they acquired the Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure certification. Finally, in 2019, they earned the Certified Project Management Associate IPMA Level D certification from VZPM, a management certification institution.
