Dilip Mitra has extensive experience in the telecommunications sector, currently serving as Senior Vice President (Network) at Vodafone Essar East Ltd. since 2002. Previously, Dilip held the position of CTO India at Schlumberger Sema from 2001 to 2002 and served as Vice President (Network) at Usha Martin Telekom Ltd. from 1995 to 2001. Early career experience includes a role as DGM at Crompton Greaves Telecom from 1986 to 1995. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Bengal Engineering College Shibpur, a Master's Degree in Control & Automation System from IIT Kharagpur, and higher secondary education in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Mechanics from South Eastern Railways Boys Multipurpose High School Kharagpur.
