Axel Luciano has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Axel started their career as a computer technician at the Pontifical Catholic University of PR in 1991 and later worked as a computer technician at NASA-Cape Canaveral in 1994. From 1995 to 1999, they served as the Operations Manager at Compumart, where they successfully implemented procedures and processes for upgrades and installations.

In 1999, Luciano joined Health First / Harris Corporation as a Network Engineer. In this role, they supervised and implemented the wireless environment using Cisco Wireless Controllers and designed the wireless guest network for the organization using Cisco Anchor controller solution. Luciano also assisted in the installation, configuration, and migration to the new Cisco Nexus 7k Data Center Solution.

From 2011 to 2012, Luciano worked as an Implementation Engineer at Vocera Communication. Axel was responsible for planning, architecting, implementing, and installing Vocera solutions for customers. Luciano troubleshooted customer environments, taught technical training courses, and contributed to the development of best practices and deployment guidelines.

In 2012, Luciano returned to Health First as a Senior Information Security Engineer. Axel maintained currency of hardware and software, monitored the Remedy system for projects and support SLAs, and was responsible for department application selection, design, and implementation for legal, compliance, and multiple departments.

Since 2015, Luciano has been with Vocera Communications, initially as a Senior Implementation Engineer and currently as the Regional Manager of Implementation Engineering. In their current role, Luciano oversees the implementation engineering team and is involved in the planning, installation, and troubleshooting of Vocera solutions.

Overall, Luciano's work experience demonstrates a strong background in information technology, network engineering, implementation engineering, and leadership roles.

Axel Luciano completed their high school education at Dr Pila High School from 1988 to 1991, earning a High School Diploma. Axel then pursued further studies at Pontifical Catholic University of PR from 1991 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Studies with a focus on Computer Technology and Marketing.
