Ionut Pogacean has a diverse and extensive work experience in the media and technology industry. Ionut is currently working at Vizrt Group as a Senior Product Manager since September 2021.

Prior to their current role, Ionut served at Sky for a significant period. Ionut held various roles, including Broadcast Graphics & Data Team Manager from February 2020 to September 2021, where they worked on projects such as the Daily Climate Show and the US Election. Ionut also served as a Broadcast Graphics & Data Technical Specialist from August 2018 to February 2020, and as a Graphics & Data Solutions Support Engineer from October 2016 to August 2018. Ionut started their journey with Sky as a Graphics & Data Solutions Support Engineer Contractor in June 2016, where they contributed to the company's graphics and data solutions.

Before joining Sky, Ionut worked at Vizrt as the Head of Customer Support Eastern Europe from December 2013 to June 2016. Ionut led a team responsible for providing support and expertise to broadcasters, system integrators, and local partners across 18 countries in Central and Eastern Europe. Ionut also worked as a Customer Assistance at Vizrt from August 2007 to December 2013, where they supported and installed Vizrt products, conducted training sessions, and successfully completed over 25 projects.

Ionut's earliest work experience dates back to their time at Realitatea TV, where they served as an IT Support from May 2006 to August 2007.

Ionut Pogacean completed their education in a chronological order. Ionut began their academic journey in 2003 and pursued a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering & Telecommunications at Universitatea 'Politehnica' din Bucuresti. Ionut successfully completed their bachelor's degree in 2009.

After gaining foundation in electrical engineering, Ionut Pogacean went on to pursue a Master's degree in Business Administration at University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest. Ionut enrolled in the university in 2010 and successfully completed their master's degree in 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Ionut Pogacean obtained a certification as a Product Focus Certified Product Manager in January 2023, from the institution Product Focus.
