Alexandria Hwang is a Research Engineer at VitaKey Inc. since July 2023, with previous experience as a Mechanical Engineering/Biomedical Engineer at Micro-Leads Medical, where Alexandria focused on manufacturing implantable polymer electrodes and nerve cuffs for chronic back pain. During an internship at PlenOptika, Alexandria conducted research on vision services in Federally Qualified Healthcare Centers and engaged with FQHC representatives. As a Manufacturing Consultant at F2 Medical, Alexandria performed market research for potential contract manufacturers for a medical device. At the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Alexandria designed an ingestible medical device aimed at improving drug absorption. Academic experience includes a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Tufts University and internships in various biomedical engineering roles. Additionally, Alexandria has contributed to community efforts as a swim instructor and participated in the Technovation Challenge as a team leader.
