Ramon Torres-Ortiz has extensive experience in both educational and technical fields. Currently serving as a Printing Specialist at Visual Impact, LLC since April 2015, Ramon oversees printer maintenance and produces high-quality graphics. Previous roles include Research Assistant at the Minnesota Population Center, focusing on data cleanup for the 1930 Puerto Rico Census Database, and Research Assistant II at the University of Puerto Rico, School of Medicine, where database management and data collection were key responsibilities. Ramon also has experience as a Professor at Interamerican University, teaching Environmental Science and Epidemiology, and as a Teacher at Colegio San Jose, Rio Piedras, specializing in Physics and Computer Sciences. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Environmental Health from the University of Puerto Rico and pursuit of a PhD in Health Services Research at the University of Minnesota.
