George Polk is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in sustainable and low-carbon initiatives. Currently serving as a Partner at Vision Ridge Partners, LLC since 2018 and as a Director at Systemiq Capital and CoolPlanet, George Polk also holds a senior advisory role at Systemiq Ltd. where responsibilities include chairing the Investment Committee. In addition, Polk has contributed significantly to the Rocky Mountain Institute as a Trustee and Chairman of the Program and Strategy Committee from 2014 to 2023. Previous leadership roles include Managing Partner at Tulum Management USA LLC until December 2022 and Head of Climate Investment at George Soros from 2009 to 2010. George Polk's academic background includes an AB in History from Harvard University and a certificate in Private Equity and Venture Capital from Harvard Business School.
