Caroline Barnsdall-Thompson is an accomplished Enterprise Architect with over 25 years of expertise in IT. Currently serving as the Head of Enterprise Architecture and Strategy at Virgin Atlantic since September 2022, Caroline has previously held significant roles such as Head of Architecture, Analysis and Consultancy at the Bank of England and Vice President of Enterprise Architecture and Innovation IT Leaders at Gartner. At Gartner, Caroline specialized in delivering actionable advice and coaching to senior IT leaders. Caroline's extensive experience includes leading Enterprise Architecture practices at British Airways, where responsibilities encompassed Business, Service, and Information Architecture alongside developing business architectures for various back office functions. Caroline holds a BSc in Computer Science from City, University of London.
