Ömer Sami's work experience begins in 2006 with an internship at Shell in the role of Treasury intern. In 2007, they worked as a Production Planning intern at Kordsa Global. In 2008, they had an internship as a Project Management intern at Ford Motor Company. Later that year, they became a Business Intelligence Analyst at Air France KLM until 2010. In 2011, they worked as a Business Intelligence Specialist at GittiGidiyor / eBay Turkey. From 2012 to 2013, they served as a Business Intelligence Analyst at MMIT International. Starting in 2013, they joined Vio.com (formerly FindHotel) as a Marketing Data Analyst, then progressed to Lead Data Analyst in 2014, Head of Growth in 2016, Head Of Analytics in 2017, and finally assumed the role of Head of Product Analytics in 2019.

Ömer Sami has a diverse education history that includes a Master of Science (MSc) degree in International Business - Business Intelligence from Maastricht University, which they obtained from 2011 to 2012. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Industrial Engineering at Sabanci University from 2004 to 2008.
